Before and After: Open Door Policy

Happy Monday, everyone!

We wanted to share another renovation with you guys. This one in particular is one of my favorites because it opened up so many more options for the space at Blue Rock. As you may know from a previous post, our “ballroom” was originally built and used as an art studio. The positive of that was the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows covering three sides of the space letting in tons of natural light. The downfall was that there was only one way in and out. In order to maximize our space and ease the flow of an event we knew that it would be important to open up the room. We took that idea very literally and decided to turn the four front windows into doors that open out to a (also newly renovated) 6400 square foot area. That means that our original capacity of 104 inside the ballroom was multiplied by at least 5!  Take a look at our progress below.
